NDP Jagmeet Singh has condemned Pierre Poilievre for “standing beside” a Conservative candidate in British Columbia – Aaron Gunn – who has been accused of denying the history of residential schools. On Saturday, Poilievre blocked calls to drop Gunn as a candidate, saying the allegations were “misinformation.” Speaking in Halifax on Sunday, Singh said, “What you’re doing is wrong, drop Aaron Gunn as a candidate.”
