While some were thinking of starting renovations over the spring and summer, contractors are seeing customers respond to the uncertain markets with an uncertain commitment. The U.S.-Canada trade war is leaving final costs questionable, but some industry groups say now is the time to get a job done given the availability of skilled workers and lack of commitment from clients.
