On Wednesday, Hamilton Police Sgt. Daryl Reid said 21-year-old Harsimrat Randhawa “had zero capability of avoiding what was about to unfold in front of her” after the international student was struck and killed by a stray bullet during a shootout between two vehicles in Hamilton, Ont. “Everything unfolded so quickly. She had no time at all to react,” Reid said.
