We have exclusive reporting tonight — Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree has stepped back from national security discussions and decisions related to the Tamil community after requesting a screen to avoid conflict of interest due to past actions and affiliations. Anandasangaree was born in Sri Lanka and leads Ottawa’s efforts to secure Canada’s borders. Mercedes Stephenson reports.
